Malachite Gemstone Necklace, Malachite Hamsa 14k Gold Filled Paper Clip Chains, Statement Necklace, Handmade, One of a Kind Jewelry

This handmade, one-of-a-kind beaded gemstone statement necklace features genuine malachite tube beads, 14k gold-filled corrugated barrel beads and multiple 14k gold-filled chains with varying textured links. 

The necklace is 20 inches long and fastens with a 14k gold filled lobster clasp. A 14k gold-filled extender chains, which allows the length to be extended up to 23 inches.

Malachite is an incredibly protective and grounding stone. It absorbs negative energies both from the atmosphere and the physical body. Pyrite is also a powerful protector. "Gold filled" means there is a solid layer of gold (12k, 14k, 18k or 24k) permanently bonded to a base metal, such as brass. The minimum layer of gold must equal at least 1/20th of the total weight of the piece in order for it to be designated 'gold filled.'  Under normal circumstances of wear (see guidelines below), the gold will not peel or flake, unlike gold plating.  Gold-filled is a beautiful and more economical alternative to solid gold, which is not affordable for everybody. Gold-filled jewelry has 100x more gold than gold-plated, and because that layer is so much thicker, it means gold-filled jewelry lasts longer and stands up to wear and tear better.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
All of Rocks and Stars' pieces are delicate and require proper care.  Please follow the guidelines below to preserve your piece:

* Do not expose the jewelry to water.  Remove before showering and swimming.  Also remove jewelry before entering a spa or sauna.
* Remove the jewelry before going to sleep, exercising or engaging in any strenuous activities. This is to avoid unnecessary wear and tear.
* Put on your jewelry last, only after you have applied any make-up, skin care products, perfume, hairspray, etc.
* Avoid contact with any harsh chemicals such as household cleaners, acid, alkali, corrosive substances, etc. This includes not using any chemical jewelry cleaners.
* Wipe down your jewelry with a soft, lint-free polishing cloth and store in the Rocks and Stars pouch that accompanies your purchase.
