Malachite Hamsa Gemstone Chain Necklace

This handmade, one-of-a-kind beaded gemstone statement necklace features genuine malachite tube beads, 14k gold-filled corrugated barrel beads and multiple 14k gold-filled chains with varying textured links. 

The necklace is 20 inches long and fastens with a 14k gold filled lobster clasp.

A 14k gold-filled extender chains, which allows the length to be extended up to 23 inches.

Malachite is an incredibly protective and grounding stone. It absorbs negative energies both from the atmosphere and the physical body.

"Gold filled" means there is a solid layer of gold (12k, 14k, 18k or 24k) permanently bonded to a base metal, such as brass. The minimum layer of gold must equal at least 1/20th of the total weight of the piece in order for it to be designated 'gold filled.'   

Gold-filled is a beautiful and more economical alternative to solid gold, which is not affordable for everybody. Gold-filled jewelry has 100x more gold than gold-plated, and because that layer is so much thicker, it means gold-filled jewelry lasts longer and stands up to wear and tear better.
